About the Mine

Known for its light lavender, periwinkle & light brown matrix, Golden Hills turquoise is one of the most valuable types of turquoise in the world. It can only be mined in a specific part of Kazakhstan in subzero temperatures to prevent flooding in the mines. It's one of the most "pure" turquoises in the world and highly sought after.
